A Collaboration Rooted in Care "This project is made possible through the donation of artistic rights and creative concepts by Marcia Aftimus. By gifting the use of these original designs for high-quality reproduction, we remove the barrier of original art costs, allowing hospitals and hospices to focus their resources entirely on production and installation. The core of this initiative is the Interactive Mindfulness Tool: every painting is intentionally designed with hidden elements. This unique feature serves as a therapeutic anchor, gently inviting patients and families to shift their focus from physical or emotional suffering toward a journey of discovery, presence, and calm."

"People have shared how calming and peaceful it feels—some even saying they momentarily forgot their pain."Maureen McKay, Coordinator, Volunteer Resources at Cowichan Hospice Society.
Healing Stillness (Adults)
Beyond its visual serenity, each piece in this series invites a 'mindful search.' Hidden within the intricate floral layers are 10 golden hearts. This interactive element encourages presence and focus, offering a gentle contemplative exercise that helps anchor the mind and provide a momentary refuge from physical or emotional discomfort

Imaginative Journeys: Childrens
Designed to transform the hospital experience into an adventure, these works engage young patients through curiosity. Children are invited to find hidden characters—such as 7 small green frogs—turning observation into active play. These designs can be applied as high-quality wall decals or individual paintings for each room. To complement the experience, matching coloring booklets with stories and drawings are provided, offering a creative and therapeutic outlet for children during their stay

This project is flexible and can be customized to support the specific needs of your facility. I am open to collaborations with hospitals, hospices, and care centers in Canada and Brazil."
